The Game

The San Jose Sharks will go for their fourth win in five games when they play the New Jersey Devils at SAP Center on Monday.

Goalie Martin Jones will start for San Jose, which is 3-1-0 in its past four games after a four-game losing streak (0-3-1).

The Devils are 1-3-3 in their past seven games, including a 6-5 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Sunday. New Jersey has allowed at least four goals in seven of its past eight games.

 

Players to watch

Devils forward Taylor Hall has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in his past nine games and is one goal shy of 200 in the NHL.

Sharks center Logan Couture has five points (two goals, three assists) during a four-game point streak, and has 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in his past 11 games.
